Tephracor Welcomes Esteemed Legal Expert Robert S. Rein to Legal Team
Tephracor is pleased to announce the addition of Robert S. Rein to its esteemed legal team. With a distinguished career spanning over five decades, Robert brings a wealth of legal expertise and a proven track record in various areas of law, making him an invaluable asset to Tephracor.
Robert Rein obtained his B.A. cum laude in economics in 1966 from Brandeis University and earned his J.D. cum laude in 1969 from Harvard Law School. During his time at Harvard, Robert was involved in special programs that allowed him to try cases as both a Harvard Legal Aid Bureau member and as an Assistant District Attorney, gaining significant civil and criminal litigation experience before graduation.
Following his clerkship with Judge Milton Conford, the senior judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, Robert returned to Los Angeles. He joined the law firm of McKenna and Fitting. In 1974, he co-founded what would become the current firm of Rein & Associates.
Robert's practice encompasses all areas of transactional work, including business, corporate, and real estate matters, tax issues, and estate planning. Known for his problem-solving skills, Robert often provides clients strategic business advice and creative solutions to resolve disputes without litigation. His clients range from banks and savings and loan associations to smaller
manufacturing and service businesses, and he has represented many companies in the computer software field. Additionally, he has been involved in complex real estate projects and environmental matters.
Robert has lectured on estate planning matters and counseled homeowners’ associations, showcasing his broad expertise and commitment to client education and support.
