Ely Sandler, an esteemed expert in sustainable finance and international policy, brings a wealth of experience from his roles as a senior consultant to the World Bank and an advisor on policy and climate finance at Morgan Stanley. Ely is a Research Fellow at Harvard's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.

Ely's extensive background in economics and finance spans nearly a decade at Morgan Stanley, where he worked across investment banking, capital markets, and senior management. His work has consistently focused on integrating sustainability into financial systems, exemplified by his consulting roles with organizations such as E.ON, HomeBiogas, and EY. Ely's policy work at Harvard's Belfer Center garnered significant attention on the global stage. His proposals for carbon markets and climate finance, presented at COP27, are now being adopted by the World Bank and the UAE COP28 Presidency. These initiatives aim to catalyze trillions of dollars in green investment through innovative approaches under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. His contributions have been recognized by the Financial Times, the World Economic Forum, and the London School of Economics.

A graduate with distinction from the University of Oxford, Ely holds a first-class degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics and a Master's in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he received high honors for his thesis. Beyond his academic achievements, Ely co-founded 50:50 Startups, a tech accelerator supporting Israeli and Palestinian entrepreneurs.
